The question businesses need to ask themselves is not ‘Should They Advertise In Senior Living’, but ‘Why Aren’t They Advertising In Senior Living’? Senior Living is entering their 27th year servicing the Senior Community in Saskatchewan and beyond its borders with a fun and informative publication. Senior Living provides articles by individuals who have a passion for writing articles and stories that will provide pertinent and humourous commentary that just makes them smile. I have been told repeatedly that Seniors literally wait for Senior Living on a monthly basis. And it is not uncommon for one Senior Living paper to go through many hands. Senior Living is a great way to improve your customer base. Come advertise with Senior Living today.
From day one, our mandate for Senior Living is to be FREE for everyone. We drop Senior Living off at Senior Residences and locations that Seniors frequent like malls, restaurants coffee shops and various locations. That has worked well for Senior Living. But then we started getting requests for Senior Living to be mailed to them. Well, what were we to do? So we set up a ‘Subscription Option’ with Canada Post and although there is a modest charge for that privilege, we have many subscribers and the list is growing. So if your one who would like to have Senior Living mailed to you on a monthly basis, go to our new and easy to use Subscription Page. You will never look back after that.
This Corporate Directory provides an alphabetical listing for those businesses who would like additional exposure for their business. It also provides a forum for customers to access all the services these businesses have to offer. It is an easy to use directory that benefits everyone. Use it today!!!
Gerhard Stercl started Senior Living paper in August of 1998. It always had been a dream of his to publish a periodical. Gerhard started his delivery career with the Leader Post and in 2024 is still delivering papers. After High School he was looking for work and a job was landed at Saskatchewan Government Printing in the Pre Press Department. After a stellar career at SGPC, Gerhard moved on. He tried sales and other ventures but the lure of having his own paper was still in the back of his mind. In the spring of 1998, Gerhard was having breakfast with his good friend Wendel, and the discussion went from cars to holidays to sports and eventually ended talking about work etc.
Gerhard wanted to move on from his current job, but wasn’t sure where to go. Wendel suggested he try starting his own paper. That was the beginning of Senior Living paper. In August of 1998 Senior Living paper was introduced to Regina. Gerhard formulated a game/business plan and pounded the pavement for businesses to advertise in Senior Living paper.
